We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Risk Assessment Tool in the Automated Education app. This new feature is designed to help educators create comprehensive risk assessments for various activities, ensuring safety and compliance with minimal effort.

What is the Risk Assessment Tool?

The Risk Assessment Tool allows you to generate detailed risk assessments for any activity, whether it’s a classroom experiment, a field trip, or a sports event. By providing relevant information about the activity and its location, the tool will produce a thorough risk assessment that highlights potential hazards and suggests mitigation strategies.

Why a Risk Assessment Tool

1. Comprehensive Risk Analysis

The tool provides a detailed risk analysis for any activity, helping you identify potential hazards and take necessary precautions. This ensures that all safety measures are in place, reducing the likelihood of accidents.

2. Easy to Use

Designed with simplicity in mind, the Risk Assessment Tool requires minimal input. Just provide some basic information about the activity and its location, and the tool will handle the rest. This makes it accessible even for those who are not tech-savvy.

3. Time-Saving

Creating a risk assessment manually can be time-consuming. Our tool automates the process, allowing you to focus on other important tasks. This saves you valuable time and reduces your workload.

4. Customisable

The tool allows you to tailor the risk assessment to specific activities and locations. Whether it’s a science experiment in the classroom or a field trip to a museum, the tool provides relevant and specific risk assessments.

Assessing Risks in Educational Activities

Our Risk Assessment Tool is designed to be user-friendly and efficient. With only a few key bits of information, you can generate a comprehensive risk assessment for any educational activity. Here’s how it works:

Enter Activity Information

Provide details about the activity, including the type of activity and any specific requirements or context. For example, if you’re planning a science experiment, you might include information about the materials being used and the learning objectives.

If you already have some ideas of potential hazards, you can include them in the activity information to help the tool generate a more accurate risk assessment.

Specify the Location

Is the risk assessment for a classroom, a field trip, or a sports event? Enter the location where the activity will take place. The tool will consider the location when generating the risk assessment, as different locations can present different risks.

With it being so quick and easy to use, generating multiple risk assessments for different parts of the activity is a breeze. For example you may want to generate a risk assessment for the journey to the location, as well as the activity itself.

Generate the Risk Assessment

Click the “Generate” button, and the tool will create a comprehensive risk assessment. This will include potential hazards, risk levels, and suggested mitigation strategies.

If you are not satisfied with the initial risk assessment, you can adjust the inputs and generate a new one. As always, our built-in editor allows for easy final adjustments to the generated risk assessment.
